WEEK  2 | TERM  3

STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

The Grade 1 students have had a fantastic start to Term 3! It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back and see so many smiling faces as students reconnect with their classmates and teachers.

This week, we have been focusing on our Restart Program, spending time revisiting our classroom expectations, routines and learning habits to help set us up for a successful term. We've also been talking about what it looks like to demonstrate our school values of Excellence, Respect, Responsibility and Care in our classrooms, around the school and in the playground.

We've also jumped back into our learning by revising some of the key concepts we explored last term. This has been a great way for students to refresh their knowledge, build confidence and get ready for the exciting learning ahead.

We are so proud of the way our Grade 1 students have settled back into school. They have reconnected beautifully with their peers and teachers, shown kindness and respect towards one another, and embraced our classroom routines with enthusiasm. It has been a wonderful start to the term, and we are looking forward to all the learning, fun and exciting experiences that Term 3 has in store!

Finally, last week we said goodbye to Ms Melissa as she finished up before beginning her maternity leave. We would like to thank her for the care, kindness and dedication she has shown our Grade 1 students, and for the positive impact she has had on our learning community. We wish Ms Melissa and her family all the very best as they prepare to welcome their newest little addition, and we look forward to meeting the newest member of the family in the future!
