Celebrating JJAMM Week at St Mary MacKillop College

St Mary MacKillop College recently celebrated a vibrant and successful JJAMM Week, a special opportunity for our community to reflect on the values and charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the Josephite tradition. Throughout the week, students and staff embraced a variety of activities that promoted faith, service, community spirit and belonging.

A range of engaging events were held across the College, providing students with opportunities to connect, participate and celebrate together. The enthusiasm displayed by students throughout the week was outstanding, with many embracing the chance to contribute to activities that strengthened relationships and reinforced the values that underpin our College community.

JJAMM Week was not only a celebration of our Catholic identity but also a reminder of the importance of service, compassion, courage and perseverance, qualities embodied by St Mary MacKillop and reflected in the daily life of our College.

The success of the week was made possible through the dedication and hard work of many people. We extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to Mrs Alison Wright, Faith and Mission Director, whose leadership, vision and organisation ensured that JJAMM Week was both meaningful and enjoyable for all involved. Mrs Wright's commitment to fostering faith and community within the College continues to provide valuable opportunities for students to grow spiritually and personally.

We also acknowledge and congratulate our Student Captains and student leaders, who played a significant role in planning, promoting and coordinating the week's activities. Their enthusiasm, initiative and willingness to serve others demonstrated outstanding leadership and contributed greatly to the success of the celebrations.

Thank you to all students and staff who participated in JJAMM Week and helped create such a positive and engaging atmosphere across the College. The week was a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together in the spirit of faith, service and fellowship.

Well done to Mrs Alison Wright, our Student Captains, and everyone involved in making JJAMM Week such a memorable celebration at St Mary MacKillop College.
