Career opportunities

Following on from the Cummins Heavy Vehicle visit earlier this term, nine students from Years 9, 10 & 11 headed for an engaging tour of Velocity Trucks Centre in Milperra to learn about careers in the heavy vehicle mechanical trade and parts interpreting, as well as careers with Velocity Trucks. 

Students heard from a number of employees about pathways in the trade, including a first-year apprentice who was the same age as most of the students, and received a guided tour of the facility. 

Students then had the opportunity to register for work experience and four students are currently organising their work experience for early next term.
