Celebrating Diversity

A vibrant afternoon!
On Friday 20th June, Cecil Hills High School proudly celebrated Diversity Day - a vibrant afternoon filled with culture, connection, and community spirit. Students enjoyed a delicious array of foods, including tacos, burgers, gözlemes, and more.
The afternoon festivities included a wide range of engaging activities such as Friendship Bracelet making, Indigenous artwork, and classic board games. The stage came alive with cultural performances, including a traditional Dragon Dance, Polynesian Dancing, Khigga, Kolo, and of course, an all-time Aussie favourite, The Nutbush!
It was a fantastic day of celebration, highlighting the rich diversity that makes our school so special. A big thank you to our incredible SRC team for organising such a memorable event.
The day served as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion, respect, and celebrating what makes us different.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success!
