The Foundation/Grade 1students have been introduced to block coding, exploring how it connects to their earlier experiences with line coding. Using platforms like ScratchJR, students are discovering how coding can bring their ideas to life through movement, sound and storytelling.

The Grade 2 students have completed the Ozobot World project which has been a huge success! Students designed and built their own interactive Ozobot towns, combining creativity, coding and collaboration. There’s been a real excitement across multiple years about this project. The Grade 2 students should feel very proud of what they’ve achieved, marking a first in TPS history!

The Grade 3/4 students are also doing a first in TPS history, with the STEM Music Jam! Students are following the design process to plan, design and build their own musical instruments using MakeyMakey devices and Scratch coding. By experimenting with conductive materials, they’re learning how technology and creativity come together to make music.

Get ready for the Babajen Blast Arcade in the Grade 5/6 cohort! Without giving too much away, think classic 90’s arcade games, reimagined by our senior students. More details and plenty of fun to come soon!

Arts Festival - Saturday 8th November 

The entire school's Stop-motion animations will be rolling all day in the Babajen. (Prep room if Raining)

The whole reel is 2 hours long and will run twice over the course of the day.
