Goldfields Division Cross Country
On Friday, May 22, eleven of our students competed at the Goldfields Division Cross Country Championships in Castlemaine. Well done to the following students, who put in great efforts in this tough, competitive event:

Special congratulations to seven of our students who finished in the top 10 places in their events and went on to compete at the next level of competition, the Region Cross Country in St Arnaud. Their results at the Division Cross Country are as follows: Well done!

Loddon Mallee Region Cross Country
Following the Division Cross Country, the Region Cross Country took place at St Arnaud last Tuesday week. Our competitors faced cold, wet and slippery conditions on the day and all did a fine job representing our school.
Three of our students competing in the 9/10 years boys event finished in the top 10 places in their 2km race:
Beau C – 2nd
Dom H – 3rd
Sonny H – 8th
This means that Beau, Dom and Sonny will now progress to the Victorian State Championships! Congratulations to these students for this outstanding achievement of progressing to such a high level of competition. We wish you all the best at the State Championships.
