What's On In 1/2

Kitchen
We have loved starting our Kitchen lessons with Lauren this term! The students have enjoyed making potato flatbreads and pumpkin gnocchi while learning valuable skills such as measuring, mixing, kneading and preparing fresh ingredients. We would also like to thank our wonderful volunteers who generously give their time to support our Kitchen program. We truly appreciate your help. A friendly reminder that we are always looking for parent and family volunteers, with a Working With Children's Check (WWCC), to assist during Kitchen sessions, and we warmly welcome anyone who is interested in getting involved.
Garden
In Garden classes, students have been exploring and caring for our outdoor spaces in all kinds of weather. As we start to experience more wet days, Ashley brings the garden indoors, where students recently enjoyed reading Leaf Man and creating their own imaginative leaf people using leaves collected from our garden. On sunny days, students have been busy watering, weeding, sowing seeds and learning how to safely use gardening equipment. It has been so nice to see our students enjoy working together to learn about the environment.
