Prep Steiner

The last couple of weeks have been very busy. We are so proud of all the children who participated in the swimming program. 

It was great to see new skills being formed. Not only new swimming skills, but all kinds of coordination and organisation skills as well. The children coped very well with all the different environments and transitions.

For literacy we explored the story of the Louse and the Flea last week and this week it was the story of Star Money. The children have enjoyed thinking about words and how to rhyme them and make them into plurals. 

In numeracy the children have been playing a variety of dice games to help with number recognition and counting while also being quite fun.

There have been plenty of new building creations during inside play and we have been loving crafting with all the wool that the Steiner fairy delivered!
