Parent forum

Next term, we are working with educational consultants in preparing for our 4-year strategic review which is scheduled for Term 1 next year. As part of the review process, the school completes a pre-review self-evaluation (PRSE) where data and other evidence is reviewed to form a collective view of current practice and areas for improvement. This will include feedback from staff and parents through a number of forums. There will be a face-to-face parent forum as well as an online forum. The face-to-face forum will be on Thursday 12th November at 4pm. 

School Council

This term we saw some changes in school council with the inclusion of 2 community members, Martin Plowman and Lachie Eveston, and a changeover of president. Martin is a current parent, and Lachie works for Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA). Darby Fullerton, previous school council president, left the school and consequently resigned from school council. Rachael Lee is now the School Council president and can be contacted on Rachael.Lee2@education.vic.gov.au

Darby’s resignation has also created a vacancy in the parent member category so if anyone is interested in joining school council for the remainder of the year, please get in touch with me David.Wells@education.vic.gov.au

2027 Enrolments

With the 2027 Foundation/ Prep enrolment process completed, we are finalising class structures and at this stage are planning for 11 classes across the school. We expect that there will still be some fluctuation in overall student numbers with some students leaving and new students (other than 2027 Preps) enrolling.

If families are intending to leave our school community because of relocation or other reasons, could you please advise us as soon as possible. A phone call to the office, or an email to the school or my email account would be most appreciated.
