Craft

 Students in classes 2 to 6 are making great progress on their various knitting projects. Students have been given the choice this year to make fashion themed items to link in with our art room fashion theme. Some students have decided to knit bags, hand warmers, beanies, and fingerless gloves. Students are very excited as they get to design and wear their knitted items. 

Students in prep/one are stitching hessian bags. They are using the dolphin stitch to sew straight and wavy lines. The sides of their bags will be stitched in an over stitch.

The photos give you a glimpse of what the children have been creating. 

We are now preparing for the Arts festival in term two. Note the date has changed due to building works that are taking place. 

The new festival date is Saturday 17th October.
