Divisional Volleyball

On Thursday 27 March, Nossal’s Inter/Senior Boys and Girls competed in the Divisional Volleyball Competition at Dandenong Stadium. 

With teams consisting of both NVC and non-club players, everyone was eager to showcase their skills and take on the opposing schools.  The day was filled with fierce competition and great sportsmanship, demonstrated in each exciting set. 

The breaks between games saw cheering for Nossal’s other teams, from the Inter-Girls’ win against Berwick College, to the intense game between the Senior Boys and Fountain Gate. 

Both the Senior Boys and Girls showcased incredible performances, winning five of their six games. The Inter-Girls saw a convincing win against Berwick College but were unfortunately bested against Gleneagles and Fountain Gate. 

And in an amazing effort, the Inter-Boys won eight straight sets, securing them a spot in the next round. 

Congratulations and well done to all players that participated in this event, and good luck to the Inter-Boys who will play in the regional tournament on Monday 28 April. 

Big thanks to Mr Sacco, Ms Wen and all the alumni and coaches for making this event possible, in addition to the immense support they gave on the day!
