Pleasant Street PS Visits

Term 1 Year 10 Personal Development Skills (PDS) class has been visiting Pleasant Street Primary School prep students every Thursday morning to help our students develop self-awareness, leadership, teamwork and social responsibility in a "real-life" applied learning context rather than through a traditional classroom setting.
The subject builds essential transferable skills such as problem-solving, communication, teamwork and self-management, preparing students for workplaces, apprenticeships, or further education.
Students have done a fantastic job of running activities that help build physical capacity in prep-aged children that focus on strengthening muscles for writing, increasing endurance and developing balance and coordination through both structured and unstructured play.
