Our Wonderful "Whizbang"

As the term comes to an end, the members of Whizbang have been kept busy with preparing and performing for a handful of performances these past couple of weeks.
Regional Principal's Conference
On 5th March Whizbang was invited to play at the Regional Principal's Conference playing a short set to an attendance of over 150 principals from the Central Highlands area. This was a big achievement for the band and despite the nervousness the band played wonderfully and represented the school to its fullest.
Clunes Booktown Festival
This year Whizbang once again played at the Clunes BookFest held on Sunday 22nd March. The band filled the street with rhythm and musical fun from 3-4pm with a variety of songs, even inviting some Whizbang Alumni onto the stage to perform. The evening was full of colour and the band was met with some really positive feedback. With Whizbang being invited back to play in 2027 it definitely is a gig the band looks forward to playing again.
Department of Transport
As the last performance of the term, Whizbang performed at the Ballarat station for the Department of Transport on March 30th playing an hour set to the morning train travellers and getting out and about in the community.
Overall, it's been a really exciting start to the year receiving these opportunities to perform at various different events and venues, representing the school and just having fun being out and about in the community performing.
