Athletics Carnival

Thank you to all of the staff and students who took part in the Athletics Carnival on Thursday, 28th March. We had a fabulous day with so many students taking part and winning points for their house. The team spirit throughout the day was outstanding! A huge congratulations to everyone who competed!

Well done to Barty (Red) House formerly Jamieson for winning the Athletics Carnival! It was very close between the top three Houses.

I hope you all have a fantastic holiday - We have many sporting events planned for next term and I am excited about the great number of students involved in these activities!

Thanks everyone!

Staff vs Students Tug of War at the PSC Athletics Carnival

At our Swimming Carnival earlier this term, our staff won the Staff vs Students Relay event and the students were ready to even the score at our Athletics Carnival. Unfortunately for the students, our staff team held their own and again took the prize in the Staff vs Students Tug of War.

We look forward to the next event to see if the students stage a comeback!!!!!

Congratulations to the staff and commiserations to the students who competed in the event!

District Swimming

On Tuesday 5th March, four of our students represented our College at the District Swimming Competition, which was held at Doveton Pool.

Our students performed incredibly well on the day, with some outstanding results:

MARA KERSLAKE won first in 50m Breaststroke,  50m Butterfly, 50m Freestyle and came Second in the 100m Freestyle.

KAI McQUALTER came 1st in the Butterfly, 2nd in the Breaststroke, 2nd in the Backstroke and 3rd in the Freestyle.

DAVID HIGGINS achieved some fantastic results with 2nds and 3rds in his events.

A fantastic effort from all members of our swimming team.

Regional Swimming

On Monday 25th March, two of our swimming superstars represented our College at Regional level. Even with such a tough competition, our students performed brilliantly. Kai McQualter came 7th in the 50m Butterfly and Mara Kerslake came 4th in the 50m Breaststroke, 5th in the 50m Butterfly and 6th in the 50m Freestyle.

Congratulations Mara and Kai!

Pakenham Warriors Basketball Development Program

Ned, an experienced coach from the Pakenham Warriors, has been providing outstanding instructions to our students throughout the term. He has developed an excellent training program to develop specific areas such as shooting, passing, ball handling and agility.

The Basketball Development Program will continue in Term 2 and will be on in our Gymnasium on Thursday mornings from 7:45am until 8:30am.

Students from Years 7-10 are welcome to join at any time - please being a basketball, your runners and a water bottle to participate. The program is FREE.

Year 7 Volleyball

On Tuesday 12th March, our Year 7 students participated in the Cardinia Region Interschool Volleyball Tournament at Casey Stadium.

The teams unfortunately just missed out on the finals, but their behaviour both on and off the court was exemplary and we are incredibly proud of them.

PSC Fitness Centre

We have an amazing Fitness Centre at the College, which is available at lunchtime for students to use. Please see the below schedule for details.
