Spotlight On One Of Our Alumni - Mykelti Lefau

Mykelti Lefau, an Alum of Pakenham Secondary College, made his debut with Richmond Football Club on Sunday, 24th March, in their game against Port Adelaide. 

Mykelti, originally from New Zealand, moved to Melbourne (and Pakenham Secondary College) in 2012 and initially concentrated on rugby. He secured a spot on the Melbourne Storm Development Program (playing under 16s and 18s). 

Mykelti had not played Australian Rules Football in New Zealand, but started playing at the College and quickly moved on to bigger and better things. He scored an incredible 25 goals in one game whilst playing for St Kilda City in the Under 19s and then followed that with a contract at VFL Club, Casey Demons. Mykelti became part of the Tigers' family in 2022, as part of their VFL Program.

His impressive form has now elevated him to the senior team - making the move to the Tigers' AFL side in February this year. 

Our community are very excited to see what 2024 will bring for Mykelti and wish him the very best for this season and beyond!
