Staff Voice: Meet our Youth Worker

Introducing: Tanya Caulfield

Hello families,

I’m really excited to introduce myself as the Youth Worker at our school. Many of you may already recognise me from my time as an Education Support (ES) staff member over the past two years, where I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside your children and being part of this wonderful school community.

Stepping into this role feels very special to me, as I care deeply about supporting the wellbeing of our students. As Youth Worker, I’m here to provide a safe, welcoming space where students can talk, feel heard, and build skills to help them navigate friendships, emotions, and everyday challenges. I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging at school.

I work closely with teachers and the wellbeing team to support students in a way that is thoughtful, respectful, and responsive to their individual needs. While much of my work happens quietly in the background, my focus is always on helping students feel supported, connected, and ready to learn.

It’s a privilege to continue working within a community I already feel so connected to, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know more of our families in this new role.
