Einschulungsfeier

Our recent Einschulung celebration for our Prep students was a wonderful way to share a special German tradition with our school community and families. In Germany, Einschulung marks the beginning of a child’s school journey, often celebrated with a Schultüte filled with small treats and surprises.

To bring this tradition to life, some of our Year 4 students played a special role in welcoming the Preps. They confidently performed a lively German rap and shared their language learning through short presentations. It was fantastic to see the older students supporting and inspiring our newest learners.

Each Prep student received their own Schultüte to celebrate completing their first term of learning German. This small gesture created a great sense of pride and excitement, making the moment feel truly special.

The German room was filled with families and students, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. It was wonderful to see such strong community engagement and to celebrate language learning together in such a meaningful way.

We look forward to continuing this tradition and supporting our students as they grow in their German learning journey.
