Secondary Wellbeing

As we begin Term 2, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue building strong partnerships between school and home. During our recent Open Day, it was wonderful to connect with parents and share the work being done to support student wellbeing across the Secondary School.
At Lakeside College, we are committed to creating an environment where students feel supported and equipped with practical tools and strategies to care for their wellbeing. Across the school, this is reflected in visible and meaningful initiatives such as our gratitude and mindfulness walls, RUOK? posters, and positive affirmations. These elements serve as daily reminders for students to pause, reflect, and engage in positive self-talk as they navigate their learning journey.
As the term progresses, we look forward to continuing these conversations with families. The upcoming Parent-Teacher Interviews in Week 3 will provide a valuable opportunity to discuss each student’s progress, wellbeing and goals for the term ahead.
We encourage students to make the most of this fresh start by re-establishing routines, setting achievable goals, and staying connected with their peers and teachers. As always, our staff are here to support students both academically and emotionally.
We look forward to working together to ensure all students feel confident, supported, and ready to thrive throughout Term 2.
