Secondary House Athletics

Our Secondary students kicked off Term 2 with the Secondary House Athletics Carnival, rounding out a huge week of back‑to‑back athletics events across the College.

The day was filled with cheering, encouragement and plenty of supportive moments as students pushed themselves across sprints, relays, jumps and throws. We saw some fantastic athletic performances throughout the program, with many students achieving personal bests and showcasing real talent and determination.

In true Lakeside tradition, the Year 12 dress‑ups were on point, colourful, creative and thankfully they didn't get in the way too much!

A crowd favourite returned at the end of the day: the Teacher vs Student Relay. The teachers approached it with an intensity that surprised absolutely no one, turning the friendly race into a fiercely competitive event that had the whole carnival cheering!

It was a brilliant day of sunshine, sport and school spirit,  the perfect finish to a big athletics week at Lakeside College.
