Year 11

Year 11 Road Safety Presentation
On Tuesday 12th May, all year 11 students will be attending a road safety program 'You just Never Know'.
The program is designed to target teenagers who will be going for the licence in the near future.
It raises awareness and provides education around the dangers of irresponsible driving, in particular driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, using mobile phones while driving, and speeding.
It provides insight into the possible consequences of such actions and how many lives it can affect.
This program is free of charge, funded through Geelong Youth Engagement and Belmont High School.
This is a compulsory excursion for all Year 11 VCE and VCE/VM and VPC students.
They are to arrive at school at normal time, place books and bags in lockers, and assemble in the PAC by 9am. They will return to school at lunch time and are expected to attend period 5 & 6 classes.
Students are to see their House Leader, the wellbeing team or Ms McAlpine (VCE Assistant Principal) if they have any questions or concerns.
Parent/carers are requested to consent to this event on Compass events.
