Swimming at Karoo

On the 23rd February 2024, 25 of our talented Karoo swimmers competed in the Wantirna district swimming competition at the Monash Aquatic Centre.  Not only did our students display great talent in the pool, but they showed immense sportmanship, good behaviour and pride in themselves and their team mates. We had some very successful swims, with the following students getting places in their races; Lilly 2nd in freestyle, Mya 3rd in backstroke, Lilliana 3rd in breaststroke, Chloe Z 2nd in backstroke, Luca 1st in butterfly, Flynn 2nd in breastroke, Jasper 1st in freestyle and Darcy 3rd in backstroke. Based on times, I am please to announce that we have 4 boys who will be competing in the divisional swimming competition this Friday 8th March. 

Congratulations to our Under 11 boys relay team; Darcy, Jasper, Mitchell and Felix, who finished 2nd in 4 X 50m freestyle relay and also congratulations to Mitchell who finished 2nd in freestyle and 1st in backstroke, and to Felix who finished 1st in breaststroke and 2nd in butterfly.  

Well done to all students who competed on the day. You all did Karoo proud!
