Student Representative Council

Hello Karoo Community,

Our names are Cooper and Charlize and we are Karoo's Student Voice Captains. We recently had our first SRC meeting which we ran with all the fellow SRCs from Years 3-6. It was a great start to the busy year! We discussed a variety of topics, such as possible fundraiser ideas to support different charities, fundraisers to help raise money for the school, and to add a 'final touch' to our school toilets. Our SRCs have brought their passion for our school and have heaps of wonderful ideas. In our meeting, we asked the SRCs to ask their class about ideas or other possible fundraisers we could do in 2024, and we will unpack their ideas in our next meeting. 

We love the SRC team and are very proud to lead these wonderful students to help make 2024 a year to remember.
