Ms Hilary Cheng

Ni Hao everyone!

We are thrilled to share with you the vibrant festivities our students have been immersed in as they delved into the rich cultural traditions surrounding the Lantern Festival!

Over the past few weeks, our classrooms have been abuzz with curiosity and enthusiasm as students explored the significance of this captivating celebration, also known as the Yuanxiao Festival, marking the end of the Chinese New Year festivities. It has been a time of joy, reunion, and the appreciation of beautiful lantern displays.

In addition to exploring the Lantern Festival, our students have also been engaged in learning the months of the year. They have been mastering the names and order of the months, enhancing their understanding of time and the calendar.

As they immerse themselves in the traditions and customs associated with the Lantern Festival, and sharpen their knowledge of the months of the year, our students are not only expanding their academic skills but also fostering empathy and respect for different cultures and enhancing their sense of time and organization.

Together, let us continue to embrace and celebrate the rich diversity of our world's cultural heritage and educational opportunities.

Warm regards,

Hilary Cheng
