Term 1 Representative League Sport 

Congratulations to all the remarkable athletes comprising our Touch Football, Basketball, and Waterpolo representative teams for their outstanding performances in the league this term. Their dedication, teamwork, and passion have truly shone through, leading to remarkable achievements.

 

In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, an impressive 5 out of 6 touch teams have soared into the conference finals, while an outstanding 4 out of 5 basketball teams have also secured their spots in the finals. 

 

But the triumph doesn't end there. For our water polo teams, the journey continues with the top three teams set to progress to the highly anticipated Sydney Championships. Already, our junior water polo team has secured their place, showcasing their prowess in the pool. As for the senior team, their fate hangs on the outcome of their upcoming game this week. 

 

The Sydney Championships promise to be an electrifying one-day event on Thursday, 11th April. The champions from each conference will compete for the title of SCS Champion..

 

SCS Swimming 

The Brigidine Swimming team achieved phenomenal by placing second overall in all SCS Girls schools. Securing second place in such a competitive field is no small accomplishment, and it's a testament to the unwavering commitment and determination displayed by our swimmers. Their countless hours of training, sacrifice, and perseverance have truly paid off.

 

Best of luck to the girls who have successfully qualified for the upcoming CCC Swimming Carnival this Thursday, 4th April. The following girls from Brigidine will represent SCS in CCC:

SCS Teams 

 

Congratulations to the following girls who have been chosen to represent SCS in the 15s SCS Touch Team. The SCS Touch teams are composed of the best touch football athletes in all SCS and it is a huge achievement for the girls to make these teams.

Term 2 Sport 

Representative Sport 

 

The Term 2 Leagues will begin in the first week of Term 2. Well done to all students for trying out for the Netball and Football teams. All Teams have now been chosen. Details regarding their draw will be sent out in Week 11 of Term 1. 

 

GALA Days

Term 2 is a very busy Term for GALA Days

  • Week 2, May 7th - Table Tennis
  • Week 4 - Dance Eisteddfod 
  • Week 4, May 22nd - Cross Country 
  • Week 7, June 11th - Chess
  • Week 9, June 28th - Gymnastics 

Gymnastics and Cross Country will train  during Thursday's sport. Details will be sent to all students who have signed up. 

 

‘Free Choice’ Thursday  Sport

 

All Thursday ‘Free Choice’ Sport options have now been finalised. Every student received an email with their allocated sport. After this they were given a Google Form where they could change their sport option. 

 

No changes in sport options will now be accepted.
