From the Faith & Charism Captain
Earlier in the term, we invited students, teachers and parents alike to share their Lenten promise. As we extended this invitation out to the Brigidine community, we were met with a great sense of eagerness as participants were able to open up about their journey of Lent and how they sought to live out what Lent calls us to do.
With the wide range of responses received, one particular promise occurred the most: Kindness. To promise kindness throughout Lent is to promise consideration, generosity, forgiveness, and love, and to know that many members of our community strived for this during their Lent journey is beautiful.
Below is the accumulation of over 100 promises this Lent, with each word growing in size as it is promised again and again.
As we continue our journey in 2024, let us not forget what it was that we had promised in Lent and try our best to continue to live this out.
