Advisory Council Update

Welcoming New Members to our School Advisory Council

Dear Parents and Carers

I am pleased to share that Associate Professor Julienne Senyard and Dayna Field have joined the Clayfield College School Advisory Council.

Each PMSA school has a School Advisory Council comprising up to five members appointed from the school parent and wider community. Julienne and Dayna join Jamie Sutherland (Chair), Professor Christine McDonald and Steve Wilkins, bringing valuable experience and perspectives to our Council. You can learn more about our Council members here.

Associate Professor Julienne Senyard is an entrepreneurship educator, researcher and leader at Griffith University, where she is Director of the Entrepreneurship Centre. Her work focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, resilience and decision-making, and the important role education can play in equipping people with the confidence and capabilities to navigate change and create meaningful value. Julienne is also an Old Collegian, having attended Clayfield College alongside her sisters.

Dayna Field is an experienced legal, risk and governance professional who has worked across aviation, education, mining and life sciences. She is General Counsel and Company Secretary for ALS Limited and a Non-Executive Director of Gladstone Airport Corporation, and has previously held executive roles with Griffith University and Virgin Australia Group. Dayna is a current Clayfield College parent and former Non-Executive Director of the Clayfield College Foundation. She brings a strong commitment to community and a deep appreciation for the distinctive education Clayfield provides to families in Brisbane and beyond.

We warmly welcome Julienne and Dayna to the School Advisory Council and look forward to the experience, insight and connection they will bring to our College.

Warm regards

Dr Andrew Cousins
