Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

This week in Maths, 4A have been learning about symmetry. In their maths books, students drew pictures that were symmetrical on both sides, making sure each half matched.
4B have been enjoying learning about MRS GREN as a mnemonic to help them remember the seven life processes as part of their Biological Science learning. Please come and have a look at their fantastic posters displayed outside the classroom! Students have been learning additional features to strengthen their persuasive writing skills and have been excited to share their paragraphs with the class. The firm favourite topic has been why lunch breaks should be longer!
4B had a blast going out in the Nugal-nganjin garden looking for flowers, leaves and plants that they could make an imprint of using clay. Check out some of their imprints!
This week in 3B, we began our Data Representation unit. So far, we have been learning about categorical and numerical data. Students had lots of fun conducting surveys and using tally charts to collect data about the class’s favourite colours before reflecting on the class’s common findings.
