Year 7-9 Reflection Days

Reflect. Connect. Grow.
Our Year 7 to 9 students recently took time away from the classroom to embrace one of the most valued traditions on the Mount Alvernia College calendar, Reflection Day.
Year 7 students explored Belonging, the Mt A Way, strengthening friendships, learning more about the College’s story and discovering what it means to be part of our Franciscan community.
Year 8 students reflected on Our Sister Mother Earth. She Sustains Us, drawing inspiration from Saint Francis and Saint Clare as they explored care for creation, social justice and service. Students also collaborated on sustainability projects that will be showcased at the College’s upcoming Season of Creation Sustainability Expo.
Year 9 students took part in Go Forward: Steps to Senior, building connections and reflecting on the attitudes, skills and goals that will support them as they transition into their Senior Years.
These meaningful experiences encouraged our students to deepen their understanding of themselves, their relationships and their role in creating a more just and sustainable world.
