Dear Hollows Students and families,
As Term 1 draws to a close, we reflect on yet another incredible term for Hollows House. Once again, we have demonstrated excellence across all areas, showcasing the strength, determination, and spirit that define our House.
Back-to-Back Swimming Champions! Hollows House has claimed the Swimming Carnival Championship for the second consecutive year! As the Water House, it is only fitting that we continue to dominate in the pool. A huge congratulations to all students who participated, cheered, and contributed to this fantastic achievement. Your effort and enthusiasm on the day was outstanding!
Academic Excellence Continues: Our academic performance remains strong, with many students receiving recognition for their outstanding efforts. It was fantastic to see so many of you achieving high Learning Habits averages and excelling across all subject areas. Your dedication to your studies has not gone unnoticed, and we encourage you to keep up the hard work in Term 2.
Recognising Our Values Champions: At our recent House Assembly, we celebrated the many students who have received a significant number of values nominations. These students were recognised with certificates of achievement and applauded by their peers. Your commitment to representing our school values is what makes Hollows House such a special community.
Year 7s- You Did It! A huge well done to our Year 7 students for successfully completing your first term at our school! We hope you have enjoyed the experience of settling in, finding your way around, and beginning your journey with us. Your enthusiasm and resilience have been fantastic, and we look forward to seeing you continue to thrive in Term 2 and beyond.
Formula One Grand Prix Excursion: For those who attended the Formula One Grand Prix excursion, we hope you had a fantastic time! It was a great opportunity to explore the world of engineering, technology, and sport while enjoying a fun day out with your peers.
Year 12s Looking Sharp: Our Year 12 students are looking fantastic in their new Year 12 jackets! Once they finally arrived, it was wonderful to see you all wearing them with pride and representing our school. Enjoy this special part of your final year at HPSC.
Uniform Reminders: A friendly reminder that full school uniform is to be worn every day. This means either full academic uniform or full sport uniform, including correct school shoes and runners. Hollows House does this exceptionally well, and we encourage you all to maintain this standard. If you are out of uniform, please see Miss Jo for a uniform pass and bring a note from home. If you need assistance obtaining uniform items, please reach out to us- we are happy to support you and your family. Use the holiday break to ensure you have everything you need to start Term 2 in full uniform.
Attendance & Punctuality: Attendance and punctuality remain a key focus for our House. Many of you have been arriving on time and attending all classes punctually- well done! A reminder that if you are late to school, please bring a note from a parent explaining why. Reflections are given to help reinforce the importance of being on time. Hollows House is here to support you in being punctual, organised, and ready to learn.
Easter & Eid Celebrations As we head into the holidays, we wish all families a happy and restful Easter break. To those who have been fasting, Eid Mubarak! May this time be filled with joy, family, and celebration.
