Whole School and Interschool Sports Update
Term 1 has kicked off with the annual HPSC Swimming Carnival. A fun day of events in the pool and around the venue. Students across the year levels competed in various swimming events in the pool. A big congratulations to all those who participated in the carnival! Whether you were racing friends or cheering on teammates, your commitment and energy helped make the event memorable.
The interschool sports rounds began in week 4 with our seniors heading out to represent HPSC in Volleyball, unfortunately we didn’t get the win however their team effort was outstanding! Following this our Intermediate Volleyball team competed, taking home victory and will now represent HPSC at Regionals on the 28th of April. Congratulations to the team and coaches on their time and effort, training and delivering such skilful play on the day! We wish them all the best for regionals.
While we had some wins, it's important to acknowledge every single student who participated in sports this term. We had Year 8 Volleyball, Year 7 Cricket, Year 7 Tennis also compete in the Division Interschool Sports events.
With Term 1 wrapped up, we look forward to seeing what our teams will achieve in Term 2. The schedule includes Soccer, AFL, Netball, Badminton, Boys Netball and Girls AFL. With some of these sports our most popular, we can expect fierce competition, teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments! Good luck to all!
