Wellbeing Team News

THE HOLIDAYS ARE FINALLY HERE!
The Wellbeing Team are excited for 2 weeks of sleep-ins and rest! It’s been a big first term with a lot happening in the Wellbeing Space!
Let’s take a quick look back at the past 10 weeks…
- Our Classics and Fan-Favourites, Rainbow Collective and Lego Club have been huge hits this term! We’ve loved seeing new and old faces each week and are excited for more fun times ahead! A reminder that both are on weekly on lunchtimes in A12 (Wellbeing) – Lego for Yr7s on Wednesdays and Rainbow Collective on Tuesdays.
- Artfulness Club for our Seniors has also been a great success! Running for the first time, we’re hoping we can continue in the rest of 2025 – we’ll keep you posted!
- Harmony Day in Week 9 was incredible! A huge round of applause to our Cultural Diversity Coordinator, Sally, for her great work in coordinating the event!
- Our Year 7s Social-Skills Program ‘7UP’ had their graduation on Tuesday! It was great to see the skills and confidence of our Young People flourish over the past term. We know they will lead well in the rest of their Year 7 year.
WHAT’S AHEAD?
Again, we’re already looking at what’s ahead for the upcoming Term!
We’re looking at continuing and hopefully growing our Lunchtime Club offerings, and will keep the school community posted around this! We’re also working to bring a variety of new programs in, focused on Student Empowerment, Social Skills, Transition Support, and more!
Wear It Purple is coming mid-way through Term 2 and we couldn’t be more accepted to bring the community together, in our first Wellbeing Event of the Year! Students will get the chance to meet and mix with local community supports and get familiar with everything from Community Homework Clubs, Sporting and Wellbeing activities, Wellbeing and Counselling supports, and more! Watch this space for more info in the coming weeks.
A FEW REMINDERS!
We want to leave you with a few reminders of supports you can check-out through the holidays! Take a look at the info below and the links to find them:

- The Lawyer is available for all students to see Free-of-Charge, in the Wellness Centre, every Tuesday! They can help students thru a range of issues, ranging from Legal and Safety Issues, to General Advice around accessing support in the community.
- Both can be booked through the 🌟 (star) Button on the Compass Menu-Bar! Check out this guide for some tips, and feel free to come and speak to Wellbeing if you need extra help!
- Breakfast Club is on every school day!
- Students can access free-food every school morning! Starting their day with some food will help them have sustained energy in their classes and school activities – and with a variety of foods and snacks there is something for everyone!
