Careers & Pathways

Careers & Pathways Expo
Thank you to everyone who came along to the Careers and Pathways Expo last week. There was a huge turn out from students and parents and the providers in attendance were incredibly busy throughout the evening answering questions and providing essential information about pathway options.
We are already looking ahead to the 2027 event, and I welcome any feedback if parents and students would like to email anything through.
Early Entry Programs
Many universities, including Latrobe, ACU and Swinburne, offer early entry programs that Year 12 students can apply for throughout May-October (application period depends on the university). Applying for these courses means that students may receive an offer to a course based on a lower ATAR score or even their Year 11 results and/or co-curricular and community involvement prior to sitting exams in October/November, which can alleviate a lot of pressure.
Information regarding early entry programs for 2027 entry will be available soon, but information that you may find useful can be found on HT Connect here.

Tertiary Open Days
