Grade 4 | Myrtle

Our Science focus this term is Physical Science. We’ve learnt about force, friction and gravity and conducted a series of gravity experiments called Paper Whirly Birds. Our Whirly Birds incorporated rotors which look like the propellers on a helicopter. We altered the design of the rotors and added paper clip weights to see if these variables impacted the speed at which the rotors moved and gravity pulled the Whirly Birds to the ground.
