STAFF UPDATES

A number of staffing changes occurred last term. We bid farewell to our departing staff members whose contributions to our community have been invaluable.  At the same time, we are excited to welcome new team members, who will undoubtedly enrich our college. 

 

Farewell

Peter David was a cleaner at the College for 20 years. He has now begun his transition into retirement.

 

Sue Franceschini and Rob Anderson moved to Toowoomba with their family. 

 

Laura Donnelly was one of our library assistants. She has moved to Perth with her family.

 

Carl Fritz has accepted a head of department position at St Andrew's Catholic College.

 

Skyla Rule was one of our learning support officers. Skyla has also moved to Perth to be with her family.

 

We thank these staff members for their generous and dedicated service to St Augustine’s College. Their dedication and hard work have left a lasting impact, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

 

New staff

Ms Tara County joins us as an English teacher. Tara most recently taught at St Andrew’s Catholic College, Redlynch. She has vast experience in senior English and literature. 

 

 

Mr Callan Newman joins us as a Health and PE teacher. Callan most recently taught at Columba Catholic College, Charters Towers. He is experienced in strength and conditioning and looks forward to assisting with college sporting teams. 

 

Ms Naya Greenwood joins us as a graduate teacher. She will be teaching across a number of departments including English, Humanities and Social Sciences and Technologies. 

 

 

Mrs Fiona Morrow. We welcome Fiona to our college. Fiona joins us from Balaclava State School where she worked as a library assistant and as an inclusive education assistant. 

 

 

Mr Suraj Adhikari joins us as a cleaner. He brings energy, attention to detail and a strong work ethic to the maintenance team.

 

 

Mr Joe Cavicchiolo joins us as a learning support officer. He is in his first year of an education degree and is looking forward to assisting in Learning Enrichment.

 

 

Miss Ellie Simpson also joins us as a learning support officer. She is in her second year of an education degree and is looking forward to assisting in Learning Enrichment.

 

Sr Maureen Buckley. We welcome Maureen, who will be filling in as a casual nurse. She is at the College for the first five weeks of term while Sr Sacha is on leave.
