QCAA External Examination Invigilators Needed 

Applications for invigilators are now open. Duties and eligibility requirements are in the position description at https://www.qcaa.qld.edu.au/senior/assessment/external-assessment/external-assessment-invigilators Those who have previously worked in this role need to reapply.

Invigilators must supervise examinations at various venues and report their observations to the QCAA after each session by completing an online invigilator report.

To be eligible to apply for a position, applicants must hold a current, paid Blue Card or exemption card from Blue Card Services or, for teachers, a current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have photo identification and be eligible to work in Australia. Applicants must also provide the details of two referees.

Prospective applicants 

1. Read the QCAA external assessment invigilators page, the position description and the frequently asked questions, available on the website mentioned above. 
2. Obtain your paid Blue Card or exemption card from Blue Card Services or, for teachers, hold a current QCT registration. 
3. If necessary, register for a QCAA Portal account, following the instructions at the website above.  
4. Submit your application for an external assessment invigilator role via the Assessor Jobs application in the QCAA Portal.

NCCD

The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) takes place every year. The NCCD is a collection that counts:

• The number of school students receiving an adjustment due to disability.
• The level of adjustment they are receiving to access education on the same basis as other students. 
• Students are counted in the NCCD if they receive ongoing adjustments at school due to disability allowing them to access education on the same basis as a child without disability.
