Year 5 Summer Carnival

Last Friday, our Year 5s had an amazing day at the Summer Carnival with fellow Year 5 students! 

They played three different sports- tennis, ultimate frisbee and cricket – and faced off against teams from other schools in short, fun games. The atmosphere was full of energy and excitement as everyone gave their best and cheered each other on. 

It wasn’t about winning- it was all about teamwork, trying new things and enjoying the friendly competition. Our students showed fantastic sportsmanship, encouraging their teammates and respecting their opponents. 

They also demonstrated resilience, pushing through challenges and never giving up, even when the games got tough. By the end of the day, there were lots of smiles and high-fives.
