Last week of term 3, our team faced Lumen Christi in our Grand Final of Wednesday Night Netball.

Coming into the game, the girls preparation could not be faulted, wanting to improve and win, they committed to two trainings a week, this defiantly showed in their game. Last time we faced Lumen, we tied right on the buzzer so we knew the final could be a tough challenge. 

We took charge of the game early in the first quarter. Ruby P was dominate in centre along with Maeve and Shae mid court. Baylee and Chelsea shooting strong with 3 goals each in the first. 

Second quarter, Alana, Elsie and Eliza were solid in defence, stopping any ball coming in and rebounding so well. 

In the last half, we ran away with it, scoring 14 goals. 

With all things going well in game, before the game, unfortunately Issy and Macey missed due to being sick, but they were still part of the team that got us to the final.

Big thank you for Ruby P and Eliza stepping in at the last minute. 

We say bye to Shae and the Hayward family. We have been lucky enough to have Ev, Lucy and Shae play throughout the years, so thank you. 

Thank you to all the staff who were available to come watch, the students really appreciate this.

Lastly, to our fantastic families who helped car pool, supported, coached, scored and anything else that you did. This program is so beneficial, for so many aspects to the girls and would not take place without your time and effort, so thank you.

I am looking forward to next season and possibly 2 teams!
