Beaufort Show BBQ

Parents and Friends will once again be running the show BBQ. We will be looking for parent support through donations and assisting on the day. Please keep an eye out for information about this. This is our biggest money maker (aside of the Fun Run) and we need a lot of parent support.

From the Principal

Welcome back for Term 4. This is one of our longer terms, but I am sure the time will fly, as we have so many things packed into one term.

This term we have all our camp programs, with the 3/4's heading off tomorrow for the Ballarat Experience, and then our Y2 and 5/6 Camps in November. Also, we have our 2-6 swimming program, Bike Ed Program, sporting events, concert and graduation.

Information regarding the Years 2 to 6 Swimming will be sent out via XUNO later this week.

Last week, Luka and Ruby competed at the Regional Athletics, both performing at a very high level. Congratulations to Ruby, who will now continue on the State Championships in November for the 200m.

Also in sporting news, Lyla and Ava have both won their way through to the Regional Golf Tournament in November. We wish them all the best.

At the end of Term 3, we farewelled Mrs Harrison. Mrs Harrison has been a very valued and loved member of our school, and her presence and skills will be missed by us all. We wish Mrs Harrison all the best with the next adventures.

Throughout the term, as also farewelled Mrs Morse, who has returned to teaching in Ballarat. We wish her all the best as she returns to the classroom in a teaching role.

It is that time of year again, where we ask all students to be wearing a school approved hat whilst in the yard. If your child has misplaced their hat, new ones can be purchased at the office for $12.

Lastly, please check the calendar of events for the dates for the End-of-Year Concert and Y6 Graduation.  We are putting these out early as we know December is a very busy time of year for all families.

Every Student Matters at Our School

As principal, I want all families to know that Beaufort Primary School is committed to supporting every child to reach their full potential. We care deeply about your children, their learning, and their wellbeing and we know that the best outcomes are achieved when we work closely with families.

If you ever have a question, concern or idea about your child’s education, I encourage you to contact me or your child’s teacher directly. Open conversations help us to respond quickly, understand your perspective, and work together to find the best way forward.

What should you do if you have a concern?

  1.  Please start by speaking with us. We welcome feedback and see it as an opportunity to strengthen how we support students.
  2. If you’re not comfortable speaking directly with me or our staff or if you feel the matter hasn’t been resolved there are clear steps you can take.  All Victorian government schools have a Complaints Policy, which sets out how concerns can be raised and, if needed, escalated. You'll find our complaints policy on our school website.

My goal is always to listen respectfully, act fairly, and work with you in the best interests of your child. Whether it’s celebrating successes, addressing problems or planning for future learning, your voice is important, and your child’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out. Together, we can make sure every student feels supported to thrive.
