ENGLISH / HISTORY FACULTY

The What Matters? writing competition is your chance to share your voice and make an impact. Inspired by Gough Whitlam's dedication to engaging young people in shaping Australia's future, this competition invites you to reflect on the question: 'What matters?'
You have the freedom to express your thoughts on any topic that resonates with you. This is an opportunity to showcase your creativity and perspective on issues that are important to you and your generation.
Don't miss your chance to participate! Submit your entries by Friday, 16 May 2025, at 11.59pm. Let your voice be heard and contribute to the conversation about what truly matters in our world today.
Return of Novels - We kindly ask the previous cohort of students to return any novels/texts borrowed from the English faculty. This will help us ensure that all resources are available for current and future students.
HSC 2025 Opt-Out Notes
Year 12 English Studies and Mathematics Standard 1 students who wish to opt out of the HSC examination for these courses must return their signed notes as soon as possible. This is crucial for our planning and support for students’ pathways.
