Bringing The Taste (of Summer)Back - Jarrod Nation 

The Taste of Tasmania is back on, albeit under a different guise!  It has been re-branded as the Taste of the Summer.  The Taste of Summer will be run by a private consortium, Pinpoint, a group of local business people with experience and skill in the tourism, hospitality and event management industries. Pinpoint lodged the successful bid in the event's Expressions of Interest process.  

The Pinpoint Group is chaired by Jarrod Nation (SVC 1988-93) who is the owner and Managing Director of Salter’s Hire Tasmania. On August 11 it was announced that long serving Blundstone Arena Manager Stephen McMullen (SVC 1983-88) has been appointed as the Festivals inaugural CEO. 

Jarrod was Founding Chair and Board Member of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision serving the foundation from April 2015 to August  2019.
