Another Amazing Performance fro Nathan Ellis 

The extraordinary career of former staff member Nathan Ellis just keeps getting better! Nathan became the first cricketer to take a hat trick on debut in an International T20 match.  The remarkable performance was achieved in the third T20 International against Bangladesh on August 6 and provided the tourists, including OV Michael Di Venuto, a rare highlight during an otherwise challenging campaign. 

Nathan joined Brett Lee and Ashton Agar as the only other Australians to take a hat-trick in a T20 International.  He also joins Damien Fleming as the only player to take a hat-trick on debut for Australia in any format. 

 Nathan moved to Hobart in from New South Wales in 2017 to further his cricket opportunities and worked as a Learning Support Officer for two years before finally getting a Tasmanian and Hobart Hurricanes contract after three seasons of exceptional CTPL performances.
