Year 8 PE

Year 8 students have been attending Community Sport venues in their practical Physical Education classes this term. These have included Aquamoves, Major League Indoor Sports, Shepparton Sports Stadium, McEwen Reserve, Shepparton Squash Centre and Star Bowl (Oz Tenpin). Through participation in different community sports and from lessons covered in the People and the Environment topic in their theory classes, students have discussed how these facilities can improve participation in sport and physical activity and how they cater for people of all ages and abilities. Students have enjoyed participating in different sports, developed their social skills while working in groups and improved their physical and mental health.
