GMDSSV Cross Country

The GMDSSV Cross Country Championships were held on Tuesday 24th May at Princess Park. The day saw seventy Greater Shepparton Secondary College students competing in their respective age groups, for a chance at qualifying for the Hume Region Championships. GSSC came away as the overall winners for the day after taking out both the Male and Female Aggregate trophies. Congratulations to the following students on their podium finishes:

12-13 Years Boys:   1st Place Kazadi Kadima

14 Years Girls:           3rd Place Lucy Potter

15 Years Boys:          3rd Place Mapenzi Berte

15 Years Girls:          1st Place Emmy Younger

16 Years Boys:          1st Place Jawid Hussaini

                                      3rd Place Xavier Chandler

17-20 Years Boys:    3rd Place Justin Ndayishimiye

17-20 Years Girls:    2nd Place Samantha Comline

Congratulations to everyone who participated on the day and good luck to those students who qualified in the top 15 for their age group, who will be progressing onto the Hume Region Championships on Friday 17th June.
