Gandhi House

A massive shout out to everyone who represented Gandhi House at the Interhouse Athletics Carnival. We earned first place and defended the title for another year, thanks to your efforts! That's not one, not two but three major wins this year - Athletics, Performing Arts Festival and Swimming. We're on fire!

Well done to Mandela House and Lincoln House - they certainly made us work for these wins.  We had a fantastic showing for Term Three’s House Week too, with Gandhi taking the top spot. Thank you for getting involved and earning those precious points.

In a few weeks' time, we will see the conclusion of the Great Gandhi Game Show, which prompts some friendly intra-house competition between our PCGs in trivia. Let's keep the momentum going, team. We've got this! Here's to making more memories and bringing home the House Cup for 2023.

Lincoln House

It has been another action- packed two weeks in Lincoln with our students competing in House Week in Week 2 and the Year 10s heading off to camp.

Thank you to all the Lincoln students who participated and earned 100 House points towards the House Cup.

I would also like to extend a huge congratulations to the following students for their achievements in the Interhouse Athletics Carnival: Oliver Flower, Trey Corbett, Cooper Zuideveld and Audrey Hunt. A Lincoln Legend, Audrey also won a State medal for ballet - the WA Cecchetti Advanced 1 scholarship prize last weekend.

Next week in Extended PCG, we will be completing PCG-led activities as one of our House activities for Term 3. More information will be sent out via your PCG tutors soon.

Mandela House

Mandela's students have filled us with pride through their remarkable efforts at the Interhouse Athletics Carnival, securing a strong second place, a mere 100 points away from the top spot. Well done to Gandhi. We have our sights on next year. Huge applause to our House Champions and Runner-Up Champions Sasha Warren, Scarlett Wallace, Jesse Nossiter, Elijah Moss, Harrison Mackey, Asha Freeman and Jared Moro.  Meanwhile, the talented members of the Mandela House Band are busy composing their entry for the upcoming Interhouse Battle of the Bands. Students across all years are dedicating themselves to crafting their own unique song – we're eager to witness their creativity and talents.  Mark your calendar for the fast-approaching Mandela Parent Sundowner. Invitations have been dispatched and, if you wish to attend, kindly RSVP. This event offers a fantastic opportunity to meet your child's PCG Tutor, engage with the Mandela House staff, and connect with fellow parents.
