Leadership campaigns

Student leaders of 2024

The dawn of 2024 marks the start of an inspiring chapter in our school's legacy —the student leadership process. We're thrilled to announce that our Year 11 students have eagerly embraced this opportunity, submitting their visionary statements that are now proudly displayed on Level 4 and in the Library.

As we peruse these captivating statements, a remarkable theme emerges: an unwavering commitment to fostering a profound sense of community within our school. This theme resonates deeply, reflecting the essence of who we are as a school community. It's heartening to witness our incoming student leaders recognising and valuing the significance of unity and shared values.

The resounding call to continue nurturing our strong sense of community is a testament to the strength of our collective spirit. The voices of our future leaders remind us that our school isn't just a place of learning — it's a sanctuary of togetherness, support, and growth.

We celebrate the eagerness of these budding leaders to uphold and enrich our community's fabric as they step into their roles. Their determination to propel our community forward, amplifying the bonds that tie us together, fills us with immense pride.

The Student Guild itself comprises a diverse array of roles, including School Captains, House Captains, Academic Captain, Chapel Captain, Community Captain, International Student Captain, Performance Captain, and Service Captain. A group of school prefects supports this group. This dynamic team collaborates to enrich the educational experience for all our students.

To select these remarkable young leaders, a rigorous process is undertaken. Our students submitted applications accompanied by visionary statements about their leadership goals mentioned above. Following the display in the Library and Level 4, the school engages in a voting process in Week 5, providing every student a voice in shaping their leadership.

This evolution underscores our commitment to nurturing not just academic excellence but also holistic growth. By embracing leadership from within, we're fostering skills that transcend the classroom, preparing our students for success in the ever-changing world beyond.
