Year 10 Camp

Fun at Forest Edge

Muddy shoes, beaming smiles

Despite the persistent wet weather, the Year 10s' spirits remained undampened as they delved into a variety of thrilling activities that showcased their resilience and teamwork.

From conquering the rock walls to the exhilarating Flying Fox, our students showcased courage and determination. The Pamper Pole and abseiling tested their limits, while the Billy Cart building activity fostered creativity and collaboration.

As day turned to night, the adventure continued. A quiz night, courtesy of Mr Quan, kicked off the first evening, sparking friendly competition and laughter. The second night brought relaxation after a day filled with activities, with a movie and card games.

The camp wouldn't have been complete without the incredible efforts of our dedicated staff; Mrs Campbell, Mr Thatcher, Mr Quan, Mr Lim, Ms Bauer, Mr Maddess and Ms Higgins. A big thank you to the Forest Edge staff for providing a memorable experience and ensuring the students were well-fed.

Despite the inclement weather, the students demonstrated unwavering resilience and determination. The camp experience was a true testament to their ability to adapt, overcome obstacles and find joy even in the face of adversity. As they returned to school with muddy shoes and beaming smiles, it was evident that the memories created at Forest Edge Recreational Camp will last forever.
