Principal for the Day

Below is an article written by our 'Principal for the Day', Shaun on his experiences on being the principal on Monday.

"Today  Mr Hyatt allowed me to be the princpal for the day. I was given a jacket and a tie to wear. I then changed the school sign to show that I was the Principal for the Day. After that I helped type up some notes. I worked with some classes and looked at the children's work. I made up an article for this newsletter and typed it up as well. At recess I did a duty and played handball. I worked that hard I gave myself an early mark at lunch."

Term 2 Mini Minstrels & Armidale Eisteddfod

During Term 2 Mini Minstrels lessons with Mrs Mackson she will prepare our two school Choirs, Infants & Primary,  for the Armidale Eisteddfod May 16-June 19th. Our Infants Choir will be performing at the NEGS Multipurpose Centre on Wednesday 25th May at approximately 10.15am. On Thursday 26th May our Years 3-6 Choir will be performing at the same venue at 10.15am. On the 8th June both our Year 3-4 and Year 5-6 recorder ensembles will be performing at 9.00am at the Old Teacher's College.

All of the students have been busily preparing during their own time as well as in the classroom. We are sure they are going to do very well and will be great ambassadors for St Patrick's.
