VICSEG Graduation Ceremony

VICSEG New Futures is a not for profit organization that runs a Student Engagement and Scholarship Program in Melton and Werribee.

In the third year running, the 2017 Graduation Ceremony was held at the Werribee Secondary College last Friday, the 21st of October.

The event was kicked off with a cover of "I'm Not The Only One" by Sharie May Castillo and Christine Papalii Seu.  Incidentally, they will be next year's Music Captains.

Other recipients of the scholarship this year include Anyieth Mabiei, Delsey Hiram, Sakir Nawaz and Aster Mersha.

Present were Ms. Hemiak, Ms. Medina and their Youth Worker mentor Jessica Gjerkes.

The schools involved are Manor Lakes, Catholic Regional College, Tarneit College, WELS Werribee, Lakeview College, WELS Braybrook, Melton Secondary, Mackillop College, Staughton College and Werribee Secondary.  All the schools did an incredible job presenting their projects this past year.
