EIS Netball Girls

Cycle Class

On Friday 2 August, the Year 10 EIS Netball students participated in a specialised CYCLE class, as part of our Fitness Program.

The students were very lucky to have an experienced instructor in this type of training, our very own, Ms Kelso from the Middle School Office.

Year 8 Girls

Yarra Group Basketball

Well done to the 23 girls who competed at the State Basketball Centre in the Yarra Group Basketball competition on, Wednesday 7 August.  The girls competed well all day, with all the games played in great spirit.

Well done to the A girls, who went through undefeated for the day and will now progress on to the Eastern Region Finals, in Term 4.

Senior Eastern Region Basketball Finals

Well done to the Year 11 and 12 boys and girls, that competed at Dandenong Basketball Stadium, in the Eastern Region Finals on Tuesday.

The girls team got a comfortable win against Wantirna, but went down in close encounters against Templestowe and Vermont.

The boys team had big wins against Wantirna and Heathmont, but unfortunately, lost a close one against Vermont, to miss out on the finals.

Better players on the day for the girls were; Abbey Wilson, Sarah Harper and Georgia Petrov.   For the boys, Beau Tennant and Mitch Downes.

Yarra Group

Intermediate Basketball

Well done to the 60 students from Years 9 and 10  that competed in the Yarra Group Basketball competition on, Friday 26 July.

The teams experienced a lot of success on the day, with Lilydale HS winning the boys and girls A competition, along with the boys B competition.

Good luck to the A teams competing at the Region Finals in Term 4.
