Year 7 Leadership Development Program

The Year 7 students who are apart of the Leadership Development Program, are approaching their 2nd day together on Friday 23 August.

During their first session, students explored the various skills required as a leader.  They practiced effective communication skills and brainstormed initiatives, that could create positive change within our school and the community.

They also had a Q&A session with Ualani Miller, a former student of Lilydale High School and role model within the community.

Students who complete the Leadership Development Program, will receive a certificate to add to their portfolio.

Breakfast Club Friday

Rainy cold days are perfect for Breakfast Club Friday with school  friends!

Thank you to Bakers Delight Lilydale Marketplace, for donating the bread to Breakfast Club.

FOOTY FINALS

Good luck to all of our Junior School students playing 'Football Finals' this weekend!

Does your son/daughter have UNEXPLAINED ABSENCES?

Parents and guardians are asked to check COMPASS and approve ANY UNEXPLAINED ABSENCES your son/daughter may have this year.

Notifying the school of your child’s absence either prior to, or on the day that they will be away, helps ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and will fulfil your legal responsibility.

This system also promotes daily school attendance. Going to school every day is the single most important part of your child’s education, they learn new things every day – missing school puts them behind.

Please note, it is DEECD (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development) policy that all student absences are accounted for.
